Jesse James Days 5K Run/Walk was a success this past weekend! With the help of Northfield Shares, and sponsored by HealthFinders, our Pura Vida program took their health to another level, sharing many inspiring moments. Pura Vida participants had been preparing for this event all summer long, through twice-weekly classes in nutrition, exercise, and healthy living education. Forty-three participants attended ranging from ages 10 to 72!
Many had never participated in this kind of event before. For the majority, it was a first time experience that brought them joy and a sense of accomplishment.
Several participants commented to us about their experience, "What a beautiful experience!""I loved it!!! It was new for me and I truly thought I couldn't do it, but yes, we can ladies!!!!" "It was a beautiful experience, thank you for inviting us and giving us so much motivation!!!"
