HealthFinders awarded donation of toothbrushes and toothpaste from Delta Dental of Minnesota

HealthFinders Collaborative received a donation of 1,008 toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste by Delta Dental of Minnesota as a part of their “Inspiring Smile Power” initiative. June was National Smile Month. To celebrate, Delta Dental encouraged the public to nominate deserving Minnesota and North Dakota non-profit organizations to receive up to 1,008 donated toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste. HealthFinders was among the overwhelming number of organizations nominated, and we were awarded the maximum donation. Earlier this week we received 864 adult and 144 kids’ toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste at our Faribault clinic. Since 2014, we have been providing quality comprehensive dental care to patients in the Northfield and Faribault area communities; this donation will help us continue our support of oral health in the community! Renae Blome, HealthFinders Dental Clinic Coordinator and Hygienist shared, “We are so grateful for Delta Dental’s continued support of HealthFinders, and for the community members who nominated us, in recognition of the work we do to improve oral health and community well-being!” Thank you @DeltaDentalMN for helping us spread #SmilePower! HealthFinders' leadership in community dental care has been further recognized, and our dental team will be presenting as the keynote panel at Normandale's Oral Health Summit II later this week! They will be talking about HFC’s unique model of integrated and holistic care, and discussing the conference's theme, the Minnesota “21st century dental team." Registration is currently full, but stay tuned as we will be sharing how the conference went next week!
