It was exciting to have Bree Maki and Samantha Mills, field representatives from Senator Al Franken’s office, visit Faribault clinic. HealthFinders Executive Director, Charlie Mandile shared information about the work we are doing out in the local community and how HealthFinders is continually working on care coordination of patients and quality health-centered care. He also highlighted how HealthFinders is continuing to grow to meet the needs of our community through our expanding dental program and community health care workers. Additionally, we had an excellent discussion with Senator Franken’s representatives about the benefits of wrap-around care as well as the importance of quality healthcare in rural areas, something HealthFinders has been committed to improving in Rice County since opening its doors in 2005. This was a terrific visit and we look forward to continuing more conversations about how we can all work together to better serve the healthcare needs of rural communities.
