It Takes a Village

Updated: May 14, 2025

HealthFinders relies on a dedicated team of volunteers who have a big impact on our organization, providing more than 3,300 hours of service each year. Volunteer doctors, nurses and dentists, interpreters, receptionists and community partners are vital to our ability to serve our communities.

One such partner is Angelica Linder, Outreach Manager at the Northfield Public Library. Angelica is dedicated to helping the Latinx community feel valued and connected – often referring people to HealthFinders for medical, dental, mental health and insurance help and resources.

You never know the impact you’ll have on others. Whether it’s connecting people to essential resources, assisting with something as simple as a fax, or simply being there to listen, the work I do is guided by my desire to help. Many people, especially from underrepresented communities, just need to feel connected, represented, and supported. That’s a role I’m honored to fill.

We recently caught up with Angelica for our monthly HealthCheck. Click to watch the video below.
