Introducing the Newest HealthFinders Team Members

HealthFinders has recently added some new staff members to our team! Maryan Hassan, Linda Balvin Rosas, and Hannah Rittman are our newest Patient Advocates, and Jeny Teletor is our newest Community Health Worker. Join us in welcoming them to the HealthFinders family! 



Maryan HassanMaryan joined the HealthFinders Collaborative team as a Patient Advocate. In this role she provides a variety of services such as scheduling appointments, reminding patients of appointments, and interpreting for Somali-speaking patients. She is currently in school and wants to major in a heath care-related field. Her goal at HealthFinders is to help her community grow and to make patients feel like HealthFinders is their home, just as she has called it home since she joined the team. 



Linda Balvin RosasLinda joined the HealthFinders Collaborative team as a Patient Advocate. She is currently attending school full time working on her general studies, and hopes to eventually graduate with a degree in a health care field. She grew up in Northfield for most of her life and has seen and experienced firsthand the needs of the Latinx community and the relief brought by having access to a nonprofit care center like HealthFinders. Because of her experiences in the community, Linda feels passionate about working at HealthFinders and enjoys working alongside a group of people that are equally as motivated and equity-oriented.



Jeny TeletorJeny joined the HealthFinders Collaborative team as a Community Health Worker. In this role she offers translation services, coordinates youth programs, and supports her fellow team members in any way possible. Jeny is currently in school getting her associates degree in radiography. Once graduated, she hopes to continue to use her skills to give back to the community and to HealthFinders. She was born in Guatemala and moved to Faribault when she was three years old. She has seen the need to better the health of individuals in her community, and believes she can play a big role helping drive positive change. Her motto is to never be complacent, and strive for what you believe in and want to improve in yourself. 



Hannah RittmanHannah is a Patient Advocate at HealthFinders. In this position, she provides a variety of services, including scheduling appointments, reminding patients of appointments, and helping patients apply for insurance. Hannah initially came to Rice County to attend Carleton College, where she received her bachelor’s degree in political science. Hannah is excited to stay in the area to further develop her connection with the community and she enjoys working with patients every day.
