HealthFinders and Other Northfield Partners Featured in MPR Article Covering "Public Charge" Rule Update



HealthFinders and other Northfield partners were featured in a 

recent MPR article covering uncertainty about health insurance and other benefits that occurred as a result of the proposed "public charge" rule, which would've made it difficult for immigrant families to gain permanent U.S. residency if they used or seemed as if they might use public benefits, such as Medicaid.

That rule was recently blocked. In the article, Daisey Sanchez, our director of operations, describes the importance of being informed and encourages families and individuals to get the right information to ensure they are receiving the benefits for which they qualify.
